Right now, half of Americans are freaking out, saying the world is crumbling and going straight to hell.
The other half are excited about the future, saying the world can only go “up” from here.
You know something interesting? They’re both right.
Whatever you believe will come true for you. Period.
People don’t realize how powerful their beliefs are. So whether you believe your world is falling apart… or you believe things are going straight up… you’re right.
A few individuals from the second group (the excited group) are already rolling up their sleeves, getting to work creating the experiences they want… They’re not wasting a single moment. Whether they voted for Trump or Hillary (or didn’t vote at all), they’re already creating what they want.
Meanwhile… people in the first group are choosing to spend their time lamenting about potential problems that may or may not ever come to pass. They’re writhing in pain over words that were said and actions that were done yesterday.
They’re imprisoned in their own thinking, while projecting it all onto Trump.
Most likely, they were doing this long before the election. And they’ll continue doing it long after the election…unless they change their beliefs.
Me personally, I decided I was going to be at peace, regardless of whoever won. I made this decision months ago.
However, sitting in the sauna at the gym last night, I said a prayer. (I rarely ever say prayers, unless it’s an emergency. My prayers are always answered.)
“May the best candidate for this country win. May the person who will bring ‘more life to all’ win.”
By the time I checked my phone, Trump was ahead…and he remained ahead for the rest of the night.
“He’s winning this thing,” I said.
I recalled an “astrologer’s” newsletter from March of this year who had claimed Trump would lose, according to the stars.
“We’ll see about that lol,” I thought to myself.
EVERYONE thought he would lose…the media, political pundits, Wall Street, social media, you name it.
The nation was part captivated, part horrified by what they witnessed:
Trump said whatever the hell he wanted to. He was politically incorrect. He didn’t cater to anyone. He funded his own campaign. He stood up to those who’ve done the most damaged to the country. He didn’t care if people liked him. He didn’t care if people made fun of his physical appearance. He clung to his principles, namely “more prosperity for all.”
He was, and is, a walking symbol of the very thing America is supposed to be all about — FREEDOM.
He challenged the shit out of the status quo… broke all the “rules”…
…and surprised everyone by winning.
As the months passed, I realized Trump was using Anti-Marketing principles to reach his goal.
He must have hacked a copy of my unfinished book manuscript, “The Anti-Marketing Manifesto.” Either that, or he just naturally thinks like an Anti-Marketer!
I mean…it’s uncanny. Some of my Anti-Marketing principles are:
– Go for sales, not approval
– Don’t care what people think of you
– Use raw, unprocessed language that would freak out a typical public relations department
– Be pro-people
– Break up with toxic customers (“You’re fired…”)
– Stop enabling whiners
– Email the shit out of your list
– Build an underground society of bad asses
Trump sent about 20 emails a day to his email subscribers! Each one of those emails asked for donations, and had a thought-provoking, compelling message. (And you thought sending 1 email a week to your list was too much ;))
Yea…he’s definitely an Anti-Marketer!
Several Facebook “friends” un-friended me after I posted videos from a DT rally. What can I say, I was curious to see what goes on at a Trump rally! What am I gonna do, stifle my curiosity just to appease them?!? I was cool with them un-friending me.
Obviously, Anti-Marketing is powerful. And it’s not for the faint of heart. Not everyone is cut out to use Anti-Marketing as a strategy to grow their business. Trump used it to win the presidency, but I guarantee he won’t stop until he helps as many people as possible gain prosperity.
Today someone asked, “How are you feeling after this election?”
My response: “I’m feeling inspired!” I’ve ramped up my own drive to achieve MY goals and go as big as I can.
Remember, beliefs are a choice.
Do you choose to believe the world is falling apart? Do you choose to believe in a universe full of repulsive threats and dangers, that you have no power over?
…Or do you choose to believe in your individual power to create the good you want see in YOUR LIFE?
