I’ve been told more than once that I’m a “healer.”
…Which means I can voice things in a way that sets people free.
I resisted this idea for a long time.
“Me? A healer? No.”
I thought that people healed themselves.
But if that were true, then everybody on the planet would be at their best weight… living their purpose… living as the best version of themselves right this second.
Instead, we’ve got a lot of dysfunctional people walking around this planet, killing their precious time… with all sorts of stuff they’ve refused to heal. (Money, relationships, weight and health issues, prejudiced beliefs, codependent behaviors, etc.)
That’s where you, as a “teacher” come in. Your business produces content that sets people free.
So as a “healer,” I get to facilitate healing by writing words that “free” people… either freeing them from outdated beliefs, or freeing them from ideas that are keeping them imprisoned.
It’s about voicing things in a way that sets a person free.
When you know how to “voice” something powerful (in your email newsletter, in your sales copy, etc.), you free someone…AND make the sale.
Every sale you make can heal somebody.
Think about that!
Assuming your product or service is priced properly, and you’re making a good profit off each sale (not killing yourself to deliver it, and then later becoming resentful of the customer)…then yes, every sale you make can heal somebody.
I’ve been a firm believer of this in the past 6 years. I’ve seen it with my own eyes!
Whether your product provides physical nutrients that aid people’s bodies in some way… or your service provides mental or emotional “nutrients” that heals their soul, their psyche, or their concept of themselves…
It’s all healing!
I’m thankful to be working with clients who are freeing others… one email, one sales page, one “enlightened ad” at a time.
Even if the person doesn’t buy…they’ve still received healing through reading the content.
I was just reading a client’s blog article, which after months of delay she finally published. Her readers were commenting, “I SO needed to hear this right now!!!”
That’s a sign that you’re voicing things in a way that frees people.
If marketing brings about slavery — convincing the masses they need to go into debt or spend money they don’t have, to buy some product they don’t want, to impress people they don’t care about…
Then anti-marketing is the opposite. It brings about true freedom.
Each and every sale you make is freeing someone in some way.
Happy selling!
