n Best Quality Sh#t! – Anti-Marketing and Your Personal Brand | The Anti-Marketing Manifesto

My fiance Dan and I were talking about high-quality products versus shitty ones…

He works in the garage. (It’s his man-cave.)

Just today, the portable heater he bought months ago gave out… after being used to the max during this Colorado winter!

So he’s off to Target to buy a new one…

“Shitty ‘made in China’ crap…”

He makes fun of me for holding onto high-quality products for 20+ years or until they die. (I hate useless change, and I hate low-quality products even more.)

Good, high-quality shit is so rare… when you find it, you don’t want to ever trade it for inferior stuff!

Some companies are completely OK with cranking out poor, shoddy products… and profiting big, while swindling the customer. The customer then has to waste time and energy finding replacements or dealing with negative side effects, once those products fail.

…For anyone who follows The Anti-Marketing Manifesto, that’s not an option.

We give our best. And we give our best SELF and our best product/service daily… or else we don’t fuckin’ sell it. Period.

Think about this in terms of personal brands.

Your personal brand is essentially you.

It’s the energy, essence, and life force that you bring to your business.

People are buying you, just as much as they’re buying your product or service.

Are you giving your personal best? Are you bringing your best energy?

How much of the real “you” (i.e., best you) are you putting into your content, your marketing, your branding?

Holding back? Mimicking someone in a way that’s not authentic to you? Trying to be something you’re not?

When people stumble across someone who’s real… who’s authentic… who’s true to themselves and living 100% in alignment with who they want to be… it’s just rare. Especially in business.

Those are the kinds of BRANDS people love and enjoy buying from, over and over again.

…So you gotta be the real “you” in all aspects of your biz!

Cut out everything that’s not the real you (or best you), and prosper!
